Play time!

I love it when I hear laughter coming from the living room and I find Tavian and Cole playing together.
So cute!

Super Bowl

Cole, Tavian, and I all went over to my sisters house to watch the Super Bowl.  I wasn't really that interested in the game, but I was definitely interested in the food!  I'm up for any excuse to overeat delicious food!  Plus, I know Tavian loves playing with all of his cousins.
We had a wonderful time and the food did not dissapoint.  We ate a ton!  We only stayed until half time, but Tavian used his time well.  He acted like such a big boy walking around and playing with all the other boys.  It was so cute watching him.
Cole and I contributed Bang Bang shrimp, Bacon Chicken Feta wraps (something like that), and delicious cheese dip!  If you have ever been to Bone Fish then you have probably had their Bang Bang shrimp (they are famous for them).  Cole and I love them and we were able to find a copycat recipe.  They turned out so yummy!!!

Bang Bang Shrimp

We hadn't cooked them yet

cheese dip..cole's favorite!

All the amazing food at Sarah's house...the pic doesn't do it justice!

Happy to be eating..even though his food wasn't quite as yummy

Tavian thought he would wear Packers colors, but we are always supporting our CSU RAMS!

Just playing with the big boys

The adorable men in my life

Yummy Recipe

Do any of you like lasagna?
Because I love it!!!  However, I never make it because it always just seems like way too much work.  Cooking the noodles and the meat and then letting it all cook...it is just a long process.
Not anymore!  I have a subscription to Woman's Day Magazine, which I love, and they recently had a recipe for lasagna that uses the crock pot.  You heard me right...crock pot!  Just throw everything in (uncooked noodles and meat included) and in a few hours you have a delicious meal!  YUM!  And, another reason to love it, is that it includes spinach.  That means Tavian got some greens in without even knowing it :)

I forgot to take a picture of it when i made it, but I did take a picture of the aftermath...

Trouble Trouble Trouble

Tavian has been keeping me on my toes lately.  Here are a few photos of my troublemake in action!!

"Just got to send a quick e-mail, mom.."

"What's yours is mine, right??"

"I looove to play with trash!"

"Just because I'm naked doesn't mean I'm not hungry!"

"Still hungry!"

"What, Mom?  I thought I was helping!"

I sure do love my troublemaker!  He's too cute for me to care!

Valentines Day

I wasn't sure how Valentines Day would pan out this year with Tavian is in the picture, but thankfully Cole and I were able to have some wonderful alone time to celebrate.  Cole's mom was nice enough to watch Tavian all day on Sunday so that Cole and I (for the third year in a row) could go to Denver to meet up with friends and eat  Cinzettis.  Yum!!  Valentines Day is the one time a year that we eat at Cinzettis, and it is such a fun tradition to keep.  We dropped Tavian off in Longmont in the morning, met up with friends to see the movie Just Go With It, and then spent 3 hours at Cinzettis eating and talking. (yeah, i'm pretty sure they were ready for us to leave already).  We went with Shannon and her husband Austin, and Breanne and her boyfriend Mike.  Such a fun time with friends that I don't' get to see a lot.  Of course we forgot to get the camera until after Mike and Breanne had already left...such a bummer.  We were already outside the restaurant about to leave when I had Cole run to the car so we could grab a quick picture!

*When we were entering Longmont it was really windy and Cole and I watched this tree blow over right in front of our face.  If it had blown a different direction it would have blown right on our car!  We couldn't believe what we were seeing!  (we didn't get the picture until later that night so it is kind of hard to see)

*I didn't do much in terms of V-day, but I did make a few "Jars of Love" to give to Cole's mom and a few others.  I thought they turned out pretty cute.  I would have liked to have done more but I only had a few jars!!

Cole and I also spent a lot of special time together throughout the weekend.  He bought me my fav. ice cream and a bottle of wine, and we exchanged cards.  He is such a wonderful hubby!!

Hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day!!! :)

Speaking of Bebo...

Some days I feel a little more broken then others.  I find myself longing for peace and truth and I have the burning desire to be with my God.  It is days like today that Bebo really comes in handy.  Maybe these songs will lift your soul like they do mine!

Bebo Love

Do you all know who this is?

Yes, it is Bebo Norman!!  I am in love with Bebo.  My sister, Ellen, took me to one of his concerts when I was probably 13 years old, and ever since I have been hooked.  I remember being at The Aggie, feeling so cool to be out and going to a concert with my older sister, and I remember tears coming to my eyes as I watched and listened as Bebo performed.  Pretty powerful stuff!!!  I have seen him one other time over the years, but it never seems like enough.  By chance I looked up his upcoming tour dates/locations, and sure enough he will be in Colorado Springs in May.  I pounced on the opportunity and am excited to say that Cole and I bought our tickets.  I can't believe I will be enjoying all of his goodness in such a short time!  I'm so very excited :)

Have any of you heard of Bebo before?  Do you love him like I love him?  Hopefully so!
