Maternity Clothes

Oh man, I freakin can't stand looking for maternity clothes.  Let me give you my reasons:

1) So unreasonably expensive

2)  They rarely fit right.  Most of them are way too big for me and instead of making me feel pretty, they make me feel ha-uge!

3)  Most of what you can find is online, but then you have to pay shipping and deal with the fact that often times it won't fit right!

My first pregnancy I did the usual first timer thing which looking back is a mistake, but I held off on maternity clothes until more then half of it was over, and then made it work with like 5 items.  The reason I think this is a mistake is because if you are going to have more pregnancies, you might as well enjoy the clothes longer, and because once you experience how much more comfortable maternity clothes are, you realize you suffered way more then you had to!

As I have had more kid's I have reluctantly bought more, and each time realized I should  have just bought it all the first time around!  This pregnancy I needed to have maternity clothes from the get.  Even if I could fit into my other clothes it just really isn't comfortable, so why do it??  I really liked some of the items that I had bought at Forever21 but they have since discontinued their line.  (I get it, they don't' want teenagers buying pregnancy clothes or encouraging teen pregnancy.  But, on a side tangent, I don't think 21 is too young to get married and therefore I don't think it is too young to have children!  And I liked how the clothes were stylish and affordable...but oh well)

I was actually able to find two pairs of cute non pregnancy shorts at Khols for $10 and both had elastic so they are wearable throughout the summer.  I know elastic makes you think not cute, but I promise they are!  They are shorter then I would have liked, but ya do what ya can.

Ross is also a good place to look for maternity clothes.  It is definitely hit or miss, but occasionally I find little gems.

I wanted to share with all of you who are pregnant my latest online maternity clothes go-to.  They are actually closing at the end of the month so everything is super marked down and ships for free.  Wahoo :)  They don't have very much merchandise left, but it would be good to check it out, especially for some of the basic layering tops that are good to have  Their basics range for like $4-$8!  There extra small and small have been fitting well in tops, and then I just ordered a pair of their skinny maternity jeans for under $30.  They are super cute and I am so happy to have found an affordable pair!  If you are in the market for maternity clothes, head to Shade Clothing .  They actually have non maternity clothes too which are definitely worth taking a look at it, especially for the prices!

Anyone have another good place to look for maternity clothes??  Please let me know :)
