Happy Sunday!
Today was a crazy day! The whole weekend was a whirlwind, actually.
While I was nursing Beckett last night I saw some pictures on Facebook from our dear friend, Nathan, getting ordained. We had actually really wanted to attend the ordination but had completely spaced it :(
When we woke up this morning at 7 I mentioned it to Cole...he was really bummed, got up super quick, looked at the invite and saw that his first Mass would be at 8:30 am in Denver. He announced we were going and had 20 minutes to get everyone ready and in the car. Yikes!
We all scurried around the house as fast as we could and luckily we made it and were only 10 minutes late!
It was so good getting to be there and supporting Father Nathan at such an important moment in his life. The church was beautiful and the music and choir were breathtaking. I wish I had taken pictures but we were too busy trying to manage the kiddos.

I was able to get a quick nap in this afternoon (thank goodness because I was exhausted!) and then we headed to Johnstown for my brother-in-laws 30th surprise birthday party. It was great getting to see family and let the kiddos play with their cousins. We all came back worn out...Tave and Beckett were asleep pretty instantly when we got in the car!
Hope you all had a wonderful Sunday!

Love your outfit! The color pop is great and the necklace is really lovely.
ReplyDeleteStopping by from FLAP! Wow! How exciting is a priest's first Mass. We were there for a dear friend's ordination about 4 years ago and then saw his first Mass as well So much fun! I love the jeans... you look so put together in them.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a day, and you look great to face it! Ditto to loving the necklace and the color of your cardigan. I need to be brave enough to try bright tones. And I could be wrong, but I think there are special graces attached to attending a priest's first mass...?
